Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We’ll come out during the 11th month and perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires.
Our non-invasive inspection is based on observations of the visible and apparent condition of the interior and exterior of the structure, including its major systems and components. 
Following your inspection, you will receive a comprehensive report, complete with photos, that includes information on any material defects observed on the date of the inspection. 
Armed with this information, you can take any necessary steps to hold your builder and his subcontractors to their warranties while they’re still in force.

A Home Maintenance Checkup is a non-invasive, visual examination of a residential dwelling, performed for a fee, which is designed to identify observed material defects within specific components of said dwelling. Components may include any combination of mechanical, structural, electrical, plumbing, or other essential systems or portions of the home, as identified and agreed to by the Client and Inspector, prior to the inspection process. There is an emphasis on identifying safety issues and items showing signs of delayed maintenance.

Radon is a cancer-causing, radioactive gas. You cannot see it, smell it or taste it. Radon is produced by the natural breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. High levels of radon have been found in every state in the US. One in fifteen homes in the US has radon levels above 4 picocuries per liter (4pCi/L), the EPA action level.

We will perform a short-term test to measure radon levels for exposure periods of 2 to 7 days. Short-term testing is extremely useful when you need results quickly such as for a real estate transaction. 

We also offer different levels of water testing. There are three types of tests we do in NY, The first is a MFTC, which tests for the Coliform bacteria. The next is a basic profile and the last is a more extensive Putnam County test. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
